About Us

We have been a registered charitable organization since 1985.  Our Registered Charity Number is 11910 8132 RP0001.  We rely soley on donations and volunteering to keep our program running, and receive no government funding.

We are members of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association, who periodically reviews our facilities and coaches.  We also maintain our insurance through them.

We have several dedicated volunteers, many of whom have been with us for several years, who work tirelessly to maintain our program and provide quality assistance to our riders. They have various backgrounds that include riding (both Western and English style), horsemanship, riding instruction and working with people who live with disabilities.

Our volunteers and parents also help out by generously working in community bingos and other events to assist with program funding.  Riders are also expected to pay fees, which are $20 per class to help offset costs, however, riders are never turned away due to their inability to pay.
